With the ever-increasing knowledge required of those in the international banking field, the CSGP Certification Programme requires Continuing Education hours to maintain Certification. Continuing Education requirement for CSGP holders is to complete 24 hours of study over a 3 year period. This equates roughly to 4 days of seminars over the 3 year period.
All renewals are due on 31 December at the end of the 3rd year of your CSGP designation. For example, if you receive your CSGP designation July 1, 2011, you will be due for renewal by December 31, 2014.
At the end of the 3 year period, if you have earned the necessary Continuing Education Units and submitted your renewal by the due date, you will maintain your CSGP designation for an additional 3 years. If we do not receive your renewal application by 31 December of the year you are due, or if you wish to end your participation in the CSGP programme, you will need to re-take the examination to earn the CSGP designation again.
You may earn Continuing Education Units by attending any event that has been approved by the CISP for CEUs. These events are listed in the Upcoming Courses section of this site. The CISP will approve other non-seminar hours for those unable to attend live events, including but not limited to approved online trainings and quizzes at the end of articles in various LC publications.
